The perfect way to experience the best of Sydney Harbour, in elegance, grace and style.
Let me be your guide; I’m Captain Stu and the experiences I take people on are about sharing the best what Sydney has to offer, the views, the stories and the culinary delights. I live and work on this iconic harbour and I know it like the back of my hand. (I am often helped by my first mate Jackford). Ellen. R (Ellie) is my pride and joy and the central part of Sydney Harbour Water Tours. Restored, loved and ready for many more excursions upon Port Jackson, showing off Sydney Harbour.
Sydney Harbour water Tours
Ellie, as I fondly call her is my great passion. Lovingly restored to her 1958 glory days, I love to show her off and have small groups experience the magnificent Sydney Harbour.
Ellie was built in Brisbane by Norman R. Wright in 1958 , she has had a rich and interesting working life…. (a bit like me.) And she was set to retire gracefully, when she was discovered on a river bank biding her time. Over more than a decade she was restored lovingly to be the elegant, graceful and charming craft that she now is. I have had a long career in business, but longed one day to turn my love of boats, story-telling and the harbour into something I could share with others. However, I am a skipper who loves the good life. I do a few small things well. Nothing is spared when it comes to the quality of the experiences that I offer. The best ingredients, the most vivid stories, all while I reveal the breathtaking Sydney Harbour to my guests. This is the perfect way for small groups to see the harbour, there are many places on Ellie to recline and relax. She is great for team activities (or even a planning day of teams up to eight). She has a way of making everyone welcome, comfortable and creative.
Our Culinary Tours
I believe that Sydney Harbour is to be experienced in style. So I have put together a range of tasting and culinary experiences (reminiscent of the 1950’s era) – to ensure all your senses are delighted.
Wooden Boat Charter
I also love to take Ellie out for day trips – with four hours to explore Port Jackson – we will stop for a swim, lunch and plenty of photos. You can choose to bring your own catering Or I can arrange to cater, with culinary treats and drinks. I can host for just two people if you want a ‘romantic’ day on the harbour – or up to ten (for a per person fee).

I look forward to welcoming you aboard. Click more ‘experience details’ on this link which takes you through to the calendar and detail about each experience. I host private small tours.(And I have a back up Skipper to make sure that we are available – even if I am not). Ellie’s is also perfect for small team events. She has much space inside as well as on her roof and decks – so if it is a bit windy we are well able to be protectected. If the weather looks really bad then we will reschedule – I confirm by text at 6.00pm on the night before your departure once I have the weather report confirmed.
